No matter where you are in your walk with God, evangelism plays an important role. Perhaps you’re a new believer and have a lot of questions about your new faith. Or maybe you’re a mature Christian but feel you need some specific skills to enable you to better express yourself in sharing your faith with others. Or maybe you’re a seeker and you’re looking for answers to some of life’s most important questions:  

Who am I?

What is life all about?

Where am I going?

Is Jesus the only way to God?

How can God allow suffering and evil if He is good?

At Westlake, from time to time we offer a variety of different courses to help you grow as a Christian.

We periodically offer discussion groups that seek to help you understand God – and His ways – better. Some of these courses have included:

Christianity Explained 

This course is for new believers to the faith as well as for non-believers. We look at the history and evolution of Christianity as well as an exploration into the Bible. We discuss what it means to be a Christian and how to apply Christian beliefs to our daily lives.  

Becoming a Contagious Christian

This course is designed for those who are already believers and who desire to be more effective in evangelism. Its purpose is to help us see that we can have a spiritual impact on people we know by using natural approaches suitable to our personality and style. During the course we discuss (1) practical guidelines for evangelism, (2) ways to build meaningful relationships with non-Christians, and (3) methods for starting spiritual conversations.
